The cabin in the globe moldiness have reminded him of his mothers boarding house. I think that is one of the reasons he did not destroy the globe as he was destroying everything else in Suzies room. One technique that I especially liked was the flash put ups. I liked watching Kanes liveness by means of the eyes of face pack who were close to him. I eyeshot it made it more arouse than just seeing it through Kanes eyes. One movie that reminds me of the lost childhood theme is Big, feature Tom Hanks. This is the only similarity I see in the two movies. In the Big, Hanks loses his childhood and wants to go back; I think Kane wants to go back in like manner.

My general reaction to Citizen Kane was favorable. It certainly wasnt my pet film of all times, scarce I would definitely pep up it to others.
