Mr Gregory

Biography of Christopher Marlowe Christopher Marlowe was born in Canterbury. His date of birth is non k presentlyn, but he was baptised on 26 February 1564, and was plausibly to have been born a few age before. He attended The Kings School in Canterbury (where a signboard is now named after him) and Corpus Christi College, in Cambridge. He analyse on a scholarship and received his Bachelor of humanistic discipline full stop in 1584. In 1587 the university hesitated to award him his superordinate of Arts mark because of a rumour that he had converted to Roman universality and intended to go to the English college at Rheims to prepare for the priesthood. However, his peak was awarded to him when the Privy Council interfered on his behalf, rewarding him for his secretive dealing and cheeseparing service to the Queen. The nature of Marlowes service was not specified by the Council, but its letter to the Cambridge authorities has go through to the theory that Marlowe was op erational as a secret promoter working for Sir Francis Walsinghams news service. No direct curtilage supports this theory, although the Councils letter is evidence that Marlowe had served the political sympathies in some secret capacity. there is no evidence that Christopher Marlowe was a spy but his wide absences from university and when the government stepped in to help him out; it created rumours. Also the item that the government insisted that Arbella Stuart would be his tutor could mean that she was also a spy as she had some relation to the royal family. If you loss to get a full essay, order it on our website: OrderCustomPaper.com
